Trimmed the baffles to fit the top cowl today. Removed top cowl, trim, replace cowl, check fit. Repeat that about 10 times and then I was getting close. Used the famous paper clip method stolen from other builders to check clearance to cowl. Need the gap between 3/8ths of an inch to 1/2 inch. Not much of a range there. Anyway, got it done. Then I decided to drill out the rivets holding the left conical gusset out, and re-drill and dimple and rivet them, to allow the ramp to be a bit lower. Now that I see how the baffle material goes on the front ramps, I saw that I had to lower that ramp a bit for a better fit. Got that done too. What a mess down there....
