Brief Description:  Baffles

Time flew this morning as I continued to work on the baffles. I fabricated, drilled, deburred, dimpled and riveted on the little braces that hold the center baffle sections to the ramps, and trimmed the ramps a little more. Probably not done trimming the lower ramps, after seeing how the baffle material will be attached to the cowling, and must go over the ramps slightly when the cowl is put in place. Anyway, that's all I was able to do, as my time expired. I'm still having trouble getting the lower cowl back on, as some epoxy must have gotten into the wrong place in the hinge area, so I'm still working on that. My shop is a complete mess, after the baffle installation. Regarding the baffles, now I have to trim the top of them to allow the upper cowl back into place. I need to trim them to have about a 1/2 inch gap between the cowl and baffle, which will be filled by the new space age baffle material I got from Spruce.
