Finally back to work after a long trip overseas, some vacation, and a playoff NFL game where the NY Giants beat the Tampa Bay Bucs. Fun, but I'm glad to get going again on the plane. Fabricated the parts for the flap motor installation, match drilled and assembled. I drilled and riveted some platenuts around the edges of the flap motor cover.... ya da ya da. I followed the directions and put the flap motor in. There is some resistance in the flap actuator, because the bolt holding the motor isn't perfectly perpendicular. I'm not sure if it will cause a problem, and if it does, I'll have to modify the bolt hole slightly to allow the flap motor actuator to be perfectly parallel to the flap cover.
