Brief Description:  Platenuts, Flaps

Drilled deburred, dimpled ,countersunk and riveted the platenuts around the baggage bulkhead, including the 4 on the bottom part of the corrugated baggage bulkhead. Then, I let the boys sit in the plane for the first time. They both said it was cool. Then, I started working on the flap motor installation. First, I found the parts, then I drilled the tiny hole for the safety wire at the end of the flap motor. Then I cut to size the center flap weldement support block, drilled it, cut it in half, and installed it into the plane to drill the holes in the floor rib it gets mounted to. The holes for it get platenuts, so the flap wedement will have to come out again to install those platenuts. Hopefully, 2008 will be the last full year building, and 2009 will be partially filled with flying. Happy New Year.
