After watching BJ video, I started laying out the dimensions and angles for the tail fin group. I noticed that the shortest fin pointing towards the bottom, was provided by Eagle R&D just a little too short, but I decided that having this fin about 1/4" shorter will not make much of a difference. Cut the longest fin to shape and then the bottom fin and matched them up where they meet. Used my belt sander with a 80 grid belt which worked beautifuly to shafe the fins.
Some of the .050" aluminum cut off from the fin will be used to make the 2"x2"t bracket supporting the front of the instrument pod. I bend the braket, but did not install yet. Kept measuring instrument pod location vs. floor pan for an hour and noticed that pot is not exacly in the middle.Neither is the floor pan. Not sure yet whatt I will do about it.I'll look at i later.
