Brief Description: Installing fuel level sending unit
Afer sanding the tank lansh for the cover plate on the second bottom tank, I needed to bent the aluminum tube of the Westach fuel level sended about 30 degrees to follow the inside contour of the tank. Was a bit tricky to bent the 1/2" 6061 aluminum tube without putting a kink into is. Tried different tools to bend it and finally managed to put in s smooth ben, but bent it the wrong way. This is not too much of a problem however. i wanted to have the pig tail from the sender exit towerds the fron, now it exits towards the back. Oh well. Both tanks have now all fittings, cover plate and sending unit installed.
