Aileron trim mechanism not working properly. Disassembled for diagnosis: top end of actuation cable slipping in Adel clamp; electrical tape shim failed. Attempted to fabricate aluminum shim; it proved ineffective. Reassembled mechanism with fresh Adel clamp; removed trim springs to disable aileron trim for duration of Phase 1 testing.
