Brief Description: Right Elevator - 02 - Stiffener & Skin Work
- Final drilled bottom stiffeners to skin. - Removed stiffeners, deburred holes and dimpled. - Washed right bottom elevator stiffeners and primed them. - Dimpled right bottom elevator skin. The trailing edge stiffener holes could not be dimpled with C-Frame due to the narrow skin fold. Need a special tool.
*** NOTE: Ordered 3/32" Pop Rivet dimpler, #6 & #8 dimple dies from Avery. Hopefully they'll come in by next weekend. Also ordered Pro Seal and the HS hinges and bearing I wasn't happy with from Van's.
