Because of the wet climate, wasps, and other hazards here in Louisiana, I wanted to seal up the fabric at the tail hinge locations. My strap hinges are the old style with nuts for grease fittings. Had to reinstall rudder to make sure there would be clearence with the nut at 30 deg deflection.
Straps are 7/8" wide. 7/8" have 3/16" clearance. 1" have 1/8" cleareance.
