Brief Description: Elevator Counterweight Prep & Rudder Fabric Prep
Welded T-25 Ribs and .032 tab on both elevators for lead counterweights. Cleaned parts and applied PPC Phix corrosion treatement to area of lead counterweights. Concern is rust forming on tubing under lead. Also put a coat of high temp rustolelum. Not sure if it will withstand the hot lead. Probably a waste of time when hot lead hits it.EXPERIMENTAL!
Squashed end of T3 tube and welded in for fabric around lower rudder hinge. Climate in Louisiana too wet and damp to leave even a crack in fabric at lower hinge. Just my preference.
