Brief Description: Drilling Wing Attach Fittings to Final Hole Size
Stepped drilled rear spar fittings to final hole size of 5/16" in 1/64" increments. Before starting made fine adjustments to wing supports so 1/4" bolt would slide freely. This kept the wing from wanting to move and shift everytime a drill was removed. Before starting pulled tip to tail diagonals: Left = 19' - 6 9/16" Right = 19' - 6 1/2"
Stepped drilled front spar fittings to final hole size of 3/8".
Final tip to tail diagonals: BOTH 19' - 6 1/2" . More lucky than good. Do think the ability to make fine adjustments on the wing position with the screw supports made it a lot easier.
