Welded third 4130 pitot mast support. Mount consist of 4130 3/4" x .058 tube with flange to bolt to spar with a 7/8" x .058 aluminum tube for extension. The Dynon 3/4" pitot will slide fit into the 7/8" aluminum tube. Drilled leading edge hole and pilot holes in spar for mounting. I originally wanted to be able to install and remove the extension tube as one piece through the inspection hole for some cosmetic reasons. Everything was fitting OK till I installed the inspection ring support. Not enough clearance. I had left the inspection support ring off just to give me more working room. Need to be able to install the extension tube from the leading edge. This will require a longer extension tube. Filed hole in leading edge to fit 7/8" extension tube.
