Brief Description: Riveted on lower inboard skin on LH wing.
Got some time today to get out the shop. I vacuumed out the left wing, in preparation for the lower skin installation. I got the skin in place, and starting at the rear spar, worked forward and outboard with riveting. Like on the right wing, I was able to do the whole skin solo, and without a single pull fastener. Those center wing ribs are a worthy adversary for sure! At this point, the inboard skin is riveted on except the overlap. and the outboard skin is cleceod on and ready for rivets.
The biggest challenge today, was the fact that I am left handed, but due to the direction of the rib flanges, I had to rivet right handed... I am JUST ambidextrous enough to do it.
Vacuumed out - last open picture of inboard section.
