Brief Description:  Part 3 - A LOT of RH wing/flap work today!

Today was an awesome day. I took the day off from work, to take advantage of the weather. I got so much done today, it will be hard to remember it all for this log. In addition to the items mentioned in the earlier two posts, I worked on rolling the flap leading edge tighter, but need to think about that one a bit. Rather than have one long, hard to install/remove hinge pin, I removed 4 eyelets from the center of the hinge and made a keeper for them. the hinge keepers are riveted together, and then screwed via hex head to the spar. Even if the screw backs out, the hinge keepers should 'fight' each other, and not let the pin back out.
To align the aileron and flap, I needed to fair the aileron to neutral. I drilled through the angles and bulkhead, and used a #40 rig pin to hold the bellcrank at neutral. I then finished fabricating the push/pull tube for the aileron. Once I temp installed the aileron, and adjusted the push/pull tube, I was able to align, and set the spacing between the aileron and flap.
Was sure nice to have Angie's help again today!
