Brief Description: Cockpit Rails, Roll Bar, and firewall
Completely finished with the drilling on the cockpit rails tonight. The angles underneath the rails at F405 and F406 have been drilled to the rails too. I still need to finish drilling those same angles to the F417 stiffener, and those need to be drilled to the F405 and F406 bulkheads. I then drilled the roll bar to the angles/cockpit rails.
I also drilled the hinge sections that rivet to the firewall. Afterwards, I back drilled the F421 skin to the firewall.
I can take all this stuff apart now. I will drill and attach the nutplates that hold the hinge sections to the firewall and rivet them on. Then I can drill and countersink/dimple as necessary.
