Well, after sitting in a hangar for a long while, all the nose, main, and tank ribs were dirty, and some showed some light surface corrosion. After a little over 6 hours, I had them all clean, and had started on the surface corrosion with a scotchbrite wheel and pad. The corrosion was purely cosmetic, and not structural. The ones I have already done cleaned up without a great deal of effort. There are a few ribs, that have a little more widespread corrosion, that I will replace, rather than clean up. As you can see, there are a bunch of ribs in these wings!
