Brief Description: Drilled 426 and 427 skins to the skeleton.

|
Started drilling the aft lower skin (F427) to the frame this morning. I need to remove the tailwheel spring to finish drilling the last two rows of holes. (Aft 411 bulkhead, and fwd 412)
After that skin was well in place, I started on the big lower skin. (F427) This skin is much thinner and easier to bend/roll, but far more awkward due to its size and shape. Once I had it 'in place' I began the tedious chore of carefully trimming around the rear facing flanges of the F407C corners. Image 3 shows this rough cut with a dremel, but some filing will need to happen once the skin is completely drilled. Overall, I am quite happy with these 'corners'.
Lastly, I had Angie help me drill the big skin to the frame at the 408, and 409 bulkheads. I back drilled from the inside, and she installed clecoes from the outside. I am now ready to add a couple more straps, and drill that skin to the longerons, and then the 407 bulkhead.
