Brief Description: Lt wing - gear mount & more bolts
Long and frustrating day with several attempts to get Lt gear mount bolts inserted. Managed with guide pins to place bolts into the top of the gear bracket, but not aligning on the bottom. (Pic #1 - appears to be the culprit after too many hrs of wiggling wing, gear mount, and even removal of the Lt main leg.)
The ring represents light from inside the fuselage 'escaping' around the circumference of the gear mount, but only on the inboard half of the circle. The direction that the bottom of the gear needs to move is outboard, but the fuselage penetration is too limited and the bracket cannot move further. Next step will be to remove all previously successful mount bolts to free the bracket and permit room to enlarge the fuselage hole approx 1/16" on the outboard perimeter. Then insert guide pins and see if it adjusts. No doubt it will be tight in the end.
