In the forums on VansAirForce.com, in a thread unrelated to gear, a comment was made regarding the position of the nose gear turn stop. In the photo, the turn limit plate was on the aft side of the travel limit bolts. The commentor observed that the turn limit plate appeared to be 'reversed' and I decided to check the position on my nose gear, thinking that it was also on the aft side. Sure enough it was aft, and then referring to drawing C1, the turn limit plate was supposed to be positioned on the forward side of the travel limit bolts. A few mins of work and it was corrected, as shown on C1.
