Brief Description: Equip Bay - reconfig a connector
Decided to replace a terminal strip in the equipment bay with a D15 connector - this is interior lighting and a combination of dimmed and non-dimmed LED lights. The dimmer is provided by the SkyView via D37 harness using a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) on the collective ground connection. This includes three circuits; 1) the RED LED strip under the glare shiled (dimmable), 2) the LEVEL button for the SV autopilot (dimmable), and 3) the baggage compartment switched RED LED (non-dimmed). The dimmable items #1 and 2 are dimmed by the EFIS dimming control. The baggage light has can be separately operated (On/Off) and needs to be powered independent of the EFIS.
Additional items could be added by splicing in more leads and pins.
