Productive day working through the VP-X harnesses and checking each circuit, dressing the harness, and confirming diagrams from the VP-X Configurator & web site configuration.
Requires confirmation of each pin assignment, corresponding switch, and operation of the device. Adding one circuit at a time, and completing that operation. Most require wire termination and finalizing the wiring routing in the harness.
Installed the flap motor, housing and unique 'flap position' components and settings. (Didn't finish position connectors.) Tested the UP and DOWN operation and full range of motion. (EFIS removed for this work) Made a 10 sec video of UP and another of DN operation - approx 6.4 secs to retract or extend.
Also, installed the new magneto gasket (Lt) and preliminary alignment of magneto (TDC/25deg).
