Picked up a local source generic LED off-road typ wide angle light. Used the mount for the DuckWorks halogen ... and added a bracket mount point and slightly enlarged the hole.
Fabricated a set of power wires to thread into the wing conduit, and Molex connector. The ground point will be 'local' on the wing outboard rib.
Need to add a reinforcement layer to the new bracket to stiffen it from flexing. The LED housing is relatively heavy - current draw is 1.4A. Will connect to the Landing Light VP-100 switch (no current reason to not run Landing and Taxi simultaneously with such low load.
