As seen in #1, the WD-617 arm is supposed to go "into" a recess drilled thru the F-605 bulkhead, allowing the 'hook' to pivot thru the WD-622 locking lug from the canopy frame (aft end of the WD-625 side rail). The preliminary fit is NOT allowing enough rotation (pivot) and the latch barely engages.
Probably need adjustments to the canopy side rails (flex forward about 1/4") due to some aft distortion in the front of the canopy frame. AND, needs a little more depth on the bulkhead recess for the point of the WD-622. More later.
