Worked on adjustments to the hinge blocks (deburring, shaping, and trimming). Wanted to be sure that IF the canopy is removed for maintenance, it could be easily re-inserted.
Removed a corner of the WD-616 weldment that would hit the angle on the back of the instrument panel, on R&L.
Removed the WD-616 frame and deburred, all the holes, including the splice plate. Countersunk and riveted everything. Only after that, I realized the splice plate was not primed yet. Will be satisfied to prime the assembled frame ... too many months of working on the house and not the plane.
