Brief Description:  Canopy frame trimming

#1 - Enlarged the slot in bulkhead F-668 for hinge to fit through freely. And, trimmed almost 1/8th" from slot in frame (C-616) to allow hinge to move to compensate for wider side-to-side alignment with edge of fuselage. Drilled splice plate at adjusted width using only two tooling holes in frame. This will secure the splice width without committing to final drill pattern yet.

The flexibility of the aft end of the weldment means that it is not necessary to bend any further until sides of the frame are attached. #2

The last pic shows the clamps and position of everything else. The center of the frame tends to be low. This will result in skin misalignment because the frame will be below the forward skin (F-602 vs F-671). Cleco clamps are not holding tightly. Will have to tighten, drill one or two and monitor alignment on splice plate.

Cannot quite fix the position of the attach point of the flat bar in #3 which is the hinge (just to the right of the red c-clamp). The UHM blocks and ribs determine the final alignment. One step at a time. Little by little. Frame must be riveted before hinge can be riveted.to frame.

Also, deburred C-616 frame.
