Thoroughly clecoed the fwd skin down to allow the canopy to lift without interference. Requires insertion of clecoes from the bottom UP, along the joint at the forward edge of the canopy skin. Gap is very close with no room for the canopy to clear the fwd skin if it's 'proud'.
Will require careful riveting from the middle forward and outward to the longerons. No 2nd chance to trim or modify the position. Need to avoid having to buck rivets while laying on the floor looking/reaching up to the fwd skin. Only the outboard edges must be done bottom up.
Need to finalize inspection and securing all harnesses in the equipment bay before doing the rivets.
Sanded the last coat of resin from the top cowl, and sections of the bottom cowl.
