Brief Description:  Cowl - Upper & Lower intake

In the process of aligning the top cowl, it is obvious that the fiberglass, as shipped, is far from perfection. The bottom of the RT intake was shaped differently from the top of the intake, it was not parallel as viewed from the top down. In addition, the joint line behind the spinner was not in the same 'plain' but instead was like two horizontal opposing C's which bent slightly at the joint line. The RT side was not the same distance from the intake edge compared to the LT. (This was measured against the surface of the prop flange, as well.

Some of this is the shape of the fiberglass, and some a result of alignment with the F/W edges. In either case, it needed material added to get a better fit. So I added several layers of resin saturated glass, and filed to get the alignment. First pass, now ready to secure with some hinge attach points on the top cowl.
