Brief Description:  Cowl - side hinges (drill)

Hot, itchy and re-iterative process to get the best final fit of cowl to fuselage sides.

Had to scrape off a little more of the 'unhardened' epoxy from the attempt to fill holes in a previous alignment. New/fresh hardener worked well on setting up strong. Sanded and filed to get a clean and uniform bedding surface, cut 0.025 ALCLAD strips and match-drilled final alignment. Added larger holes in ALCLAD between rivet spacing for buttons of epoxy to be dabbed on in final epoxy bedding step.Spacer of 0.025 brings outside surface of cowl into parity with fuselage side skins.

Ready for both side hinges to be CS, epoxied and riveted. Will hold to do the same steps on bottom hinge sections and bed all hinges simulataneously.
