In reviewing the aft end of the rollbar brace (channel) and attachment to the bulkhead, it appears that a modification was made to the RV-9A tip-up rollbar configuration. Spent some time evaluating the adaption of this approach to the new brace.
One of the problems of adaptation is the existing number and layout of holes through all the layers (skin, bulkhead flange, channel). The RV-6A plans precede this approach. However, the RV-9A configuration appears to be a clean and less difficult design. Assuming that it is not structurally inferior to the RV-6A design limits, the potential to install it correctly enhances the implementation. Ordered the F-732A channel, and will decide then.
