Removed all the protective film from the canopy and was pleased to find only a few very minor locations where abrasive action had occurred, and can be polished easily. Double-checked the edge prep from previous days, and set it in-place for a final fit check. Looks so much better without that film.
Covered the lower edge with painters tape to keep it 'clean' where the Sikaflex adhesive will be applied. Then coated the plexi (outside) with a healtly layer of liquid masking agent (visible in the 2nd photo). Another coat will be layered on when thoroughly dried. Looks like wet rain, but very smooth to the touch.
Drilled the electric flap motor screw-jack and safetied it.
