Continuing to trim (file) and fit, but getting very close. and easy to go too far. Difficult to trim, and then re-fit to the same alignment. This can cause a little frustration with getting consistent fit information.
The spinner area is NOT parallel, indicating that it's too low, but to raise it causes the bottom cowl to be a mirror image of misalignent, (not-parallel but in a different plane, no pun intended).
Once the hinges can be drilled, it will be time to resolve the spinner area. Worst case, cut it off and reattach perfectly -- ugh.
