Received the materials from Vans this evening and re-cut the AL angles for the canopy latch mount.
Carefully measured the position and compared to the opening, then cut the two angles. Aligned the release portion 1st and drilled that hole in angle using the latch as a guide. Then the handle portion and drilled it the same way. Disassembled and match-drilled the 2nd angle.
Assembled with pivot bolts, checking against the skin hole. Will mark and drill the rivet holes in top angle tomorrow and then repeat for the bottom.
