Cleaned up, scuffed, primed/painted the aft half of the rollbar (the new pieces).
With minor manual adjustments to the countsinking, riveted in the nutplates in the aft side, which may be used for wires, or unforeseen reasons. Then did the same adjustments for the rivets, and carefully alternated inside/outside blind rivets. Used screw type clecoes to really tighten the components to ensure the integrity of the pull rivets (CS4-4).
Joining the original front half of the rollbar to the aft half is more difficult with new and old components than it would have been to just rebuilt a totally new rollbar.
Stopped before finished because the pilot side was starting to twist. Get back to this later, more rested, to fix it.
