Brief Description: Cockpit Assembly - Test fitting
In preparation for the EAA chapter visit on Tues, I vacuumed out, cleaned-up, and assembled seat back, instrument panel, and console conponents to see how it's looking.
One of the challenges on the panel will be the modifications for the SkyView panel in the middle of where the left subpanel rib would normally be installed. The modified attachment will have to attach at both the top and bottom, above and below the SkyView. The attachment will go to the subpanel.
The pilot grip (Tosten) just clears the bottom of the instrument panel, as expected. Cannot imagine any manuveur that would ever require the extreme forward stick.
Clecoes in the braces contact the instrument panel top edge preventing the canopy from closing in this condition.
