Touched up the primer on the canopy reinforcement braces and applied coat of interior paint. Will have to paint the underside of the canopy before assembly.
Additional work under the forward skin to finalize subpanel, ribs, and hinge blocks.
Removed channel on forward side of subpanel and installed nutplates for UHMW block of the canopy quick release assembly.
Began forward attach on the 'floating rib' which had no attachment to the firewall. Seems this rib was 3/4" too short to reasch firewall. Also concluded that the rib is a mirror image of what it should be, i.e. the flanges are flipped. The flanges should be bent to the right but are left. This makes the fit on the channel/subpanel very difficult. Will not replace it though.
