After too much time away from the hands-on work, it was good to dig into the unfinished canopy fitting process. With some regret that I had 'over trimmed' the forward portion of the plexi sides, it was necessary to make minor edge adjustments and re-consider the adequacy of the material remaining.
Removed the rear window, and did a little work to straighten the front edge, especially on the right side. Then worked on the matching edge of the canopy (aft edge). Very time consuming to disassemble and re-assemble everything to check 'fit'.
Determined sides of tip-up portion of plexi are sufficiently long, but the forward edge may need to be trimmed to lower it 1/8" more. Word to the wise, trim 'small' and have only 'small' regrets. Too close for comfort but I am now considering an adhesive for the tip-up canopy instead of the screws.
