Fabricated the strut mounts for the tip-up canopy attach points. Refered to RV-9A preliminary plans manual for some details drawings and notes to clarify the positions.
Lots of material cutting, shaping, and measuring, and a little discretion in the position of fasteners. The final position appears to be a difficult decision, whether it can be 'tested' adequately while clamped together before driling. If it's too far aft or fwd it may interfere with the full range of motion to open the canopy.
Shown with two screws in the lower area of the aft brackets, and I plan to add a 3rd screw in a higher and middle position, forming a triangle.
