Set-up a 'tool' to bend the angles for the tabs to sit flush. Bent all the tabs, attached with clamps to the forward frame flanges. Marked, trimmed slightly, clamped, drilled, repeated several times.
Started to drill the reinforcement kit to the INSIDE of the flange, and this would have been very difficult to rivet a few locations. Realized the error in time to do the final drill and fit.
At this point it still needs lots of adjustment and trimming.
Moved and positioned on the outside of the flanges, drilled several unibit holes in the center component to clear universal rivet heads, and checked fit with skin on the frame.
Pre-requisite for riveting these in place!!! The skin MUST be riveted to the canopy frame BEFORE the reinforcement kit is riveted. Otherwise there is no access to buck the skin rivets.
