Keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't trim too much off the forward end of the plexi on both Lt & Rt sides. (Yesterday voilated my 'trim small rule' and cut too much off the sides at the forward portion, almost 1/2" in one cut, tapered to 1/8" in the aft portion. Should have taken no more than 1/4" in one cut. By the time I realized the canopy was not THAT high in the forward edge, it was too late.
Today I remediated the over zealous trimming, and made the front edge of the canopy as low as it would go, with lots of small precise trims. And made a great effort to contour the front edge to maximize the fit, lowering the sides as much as possible.
At the end of the session it seems to be enough. The rollbar end now needs a little adjustment to mate with the rear window edge. The sides are going to require careful edge polishing, and drilling to the C-725 weldments.
NOTE: The contour of the leading edge of the canopy is a combination of curves, like a gentle 'French Curve' with a little this way and a little that. It is not a single radius Realizing this it would have been easier to trim it efficiently the 1st time. (#3 photo)
