Brief Description: Dynon ADS-B IN module - mounting
Decided to mount the Dynon ADS-B module under the rails of the subpanel/ribs area ("the equipment bay"). Drilled holes for the nutplate additions in the rib/rail, and fabricated a short piece of 3/4" AL angle to attach one side.
The extremely light weight of the modern avionics components makes it possible to mount equipment which could not be installed that way a decade ago. Additionally the current draw is miniscule in comparison and thus the wire gauges are size/weight almost 'nothing'.
Need to combine the Dynon supplied (optional) cable with DB9 (M) so that it becomes integral to the harness of another Dynon module.
