Picked up a small pkg of Statinless Steel 8-32 x 1" flathead Phillips screws to fasten the SV-GPS receiver to the doubler on the aft skin. SS to resist rust, and will be covered by a dollop of sealant, too.
Because of the SS screws, I took the uncommon step of running a 8-32 tap thru the nutplates to minimize potential of galling. Should be well sealed but when dry can be problematic.
Pigtail on receiver will allow it to be removed with the skin until ready to rivet later.
