Serious final sdjustments to the engine baffles, improve the fit along the R & L forward inlet ramps on the top of the cowl.
Drilled out the previous flex and trimmed to follow cowl contour properly, then re-installed flex with a little bias. The R side was good, but the L is not tall enough or contoured properly. Another try?
A photo inside the oil filler door indicates the flex around the oil cooler area is not correctly positioned on the INSIDE of the baffle wall.
Also added the Red RTV into all the gaps between engine and baffle walls. Almost impossible to reach some and need skinny arms, long tubes and patience. Multiple coats required to let it set and build up.
Later engine run was not entirely satifactory but very close.
