Brief Description: New Alternator, Sump & other bolts
Made a cheat-sheet with all torque specs for bolts, hoses and fittings. Torqued the intake & exhaust bolts/nuts.
Cleaned up all the sump fasteners and installed with appropriate new star washers, then completed the entire sump to an even 30 in-lbs to start, and will make a 2nd pass as soon as position of cable clamps is final.
Removed the old Kelly Aerospace alternator and installed the replacment Plane Power 60A unit and all new fixtures and belt. Safetied the brackets and attached the wiring.
Hung the lower cowl to compare clearance - fabulous. Need to now fiberglas over the cowl hole, no bump needed.
