After some other distracitons on the cowl, I needed to get the exhaust hangers right to be sure of cowl and hinge clearances.
NOTE - no hose clamps on the vertical hangers - friction fit to position for now. The bolts/nuts are not tighten on any hanger or ball joint. Will have to remove it to work around the FW areas.
Vetterman exhaust system and hangers - very professional product but the documentation is slightly past the stone age. Hand sketched and hand printed, two pages. Adequate but a little more on the illustration would be helpful. Other builder sites were a big help.
Will have to remove the brackets and exhausts pipes from the ball joint back, to finish cowl and firewall.
Added a 1/8th inch AL spacer to the forward attach of the lower cowl, And drilled out the holes for the AN3 bolts.
