Brief Description:  Pilot & Co-Pilot rudder/brake pedals

Drilled, assembled, and prelim-deburred the pre-fab'ed brake pedals. IAW Dwg #43a, cut 4" pieces of 3/4" AL angle and match drilled with the specified length below the pedal surface. Clecoed and marked for trimming, and shaping. Match drilled all four brake attach components for consistency and 'back drilled' angles to match pre-drilled pedal surfaces.

The brake attach components (F6117B) goes on the Lt side of one pedal, and the Rt side of the adjacent pedal. This does not get drilled until later for the bolt that actually secures the master cylinders. The process of centering the pedals, aligning the master cylinders, and synchronizing the brakes will determine the exact position to drill the F6117B for the master cylinders.

These pedals will be set aside for now. Maybe they will be drilled to #30 for riveting (drill, debur, and prep for primer) can be done as a "time filler" project or to take a break from some other task. Probably will be completed when the rudder control weldments (WD-655A) is powdercoated and ready to permanent drill into the fuselage.

NOTE: This RV-6A kit has the optional co-pilot brakes so there are two sets of everything.
