Brief Description:  Control Stick and linkage

Complied with Service Bulletin from Vans re: Control Sticks in 2-place RV's. Feb 2, 2007. But during plans review discovered that the SB is unnecessary as it is already called out in the drawing from 1988.

Drilled a #19 hole, deburred and secured co-pilot stick a bolt and nut. (Should be AN3-13A but need to order, only had a -12A). For now I anticipate the co-pilot stick will be inserted and secured most of the time, and will reconsider after it's flying. If removed it needs a place to securely store it.

Inserted the appropriate washers and assembled all the control stick heim joints and linkage for the cross tube and mounts to bulkhead. As suggested by Vans, it is a lot easier to assemble on each end on the bench and THEN position and tighten. Hope to not need further removal ... and will concentrate on torqueing, and marking as such.

Connected the Dynon Roll Servo linkage to the bottom attach point of the co-pilot aileron pivot, and evaluated for clearance. Interference the bolt/nut of the linkage will necessitate removal of some material in the upper aft area of the co-pilot rib to the left of the servo mount. Also, not at all sure that the servo pivot arm for the SV32L will clear the fuselage skin. Really need to acquire that servo soon.
