Brief Description:  Aileron Tube rod-ends, trim & rivet

Removed both aileron control tubes (cut them weeks ago). Found that the Rt wing tube is 1/2" longer than the Lt. Assuming that the control ends can be shortened by screwing in the rod-ends, decided to trim only 1/4" off the Rt tube.

Primed and riveted in the rod-ends and tightened the jam nuts. Of course, the final wing assembly will be required to 'set' the lengths during final rigging.

After assembly, determined that the rivets on the in-board ends of the tubes was striking the ribs adjacent to the control stick attach bracket on each seat. So, had to trim away the interfering portion of the lightening hole, forward/bottom area and re-tested several times. Will have to monitor this during final assembly with all the washers, and brackets tight.

All the flight control tubes are now fabricated, and all the flight control surfaces have been 'moved' by their respective mechanisms. With the exception of the flap in-board bracket, which is being re-fabricated, the control surfaces are also fabricated.
