Quick and dirty assembly of the rudder components. Really liked the way the stiffeners were pre-drilled, marked, and ready for being snipped and 'made'.
Assembled the rudder horn, cut space (R-717) and attach strips for the bottom fiberglass.
Most of this is very intuitive but the trimming of the brace almost became a problem. Without the spacer (R-717) the angle of the horn is slightly tilted and drilling out the holes in the brace to #30 will be wrong. The angle of the bottom rib will also be wrong and the spar will not line-up properly. Fabricate that spacer before drilling anything.
