Brief Description: Empennage fiaring, assembly

Hit almost 100 degs today, and summer temps in a tin box are unbearable, but after sundown it was nice. Gene Meng joined in the fun and we got a number of tasks done.
Still concentrating on the A-Z assembly of the empennage, including the fairing, elvators, weights, wiring, fiberflass. etc.
The right side of the fairing had to be reshaped by slicing out a 1/4" at the forward end, to a 1/16" near the aft end. Used some clips of alum to cleco together with new shape. Will require fiberglass patches to close gap. Assembled with rudder and Rt elevator to test freedom of movement, cables, stops, and interference with fairing.
