Brief Description: Rudder fiberglass, tail-light mount
Spent some time on the rudder bottom fiberglass fairing, In order to design a tail-light or tail-strobe mount. (Haven't decided on Strobe v Light).
Needed to drill the fiberglass fairing, then match drill the aluminum mounting strip, in order to determine the fit of the standard mounting location. Looks like a fair starting point but the 4-point light cover, salvaged from a spam-can has only one mounting 'point' which can be attached. Will need to add fiberglass filling and do a bit of shaping to have it ready for a light.
Fairing needs to be countersunk, and the nutplates need to be ordered. (SS screws, of course.)
